Key Responsibilities
- Configuration, administration and support of core Windows server infrastructure (physical and virtual)
- Work off the support queue resolving requests and incidents with agreed SLA
- Provide 3rd line support to desktops support\ service desk staff
- Deploy\Design windows based applications with High availability and disaster recovery in mind.
- Support the end user computing space, deploying packages through SCCM\Altiris, updating Windows images using MDT
- AD\DNS\Group policy administration
- Patch Management
- ADFS – SSO deployments
- Documenting the infrastructure for all deployments and keep existing documents up to date
- Being self-sufficient, able to think out of the box and deliver projects on time.
Essential Skills
- Good understanding of current Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating systems. 2012 R2 /2016 – Windows 7/10
- Support and management of Active Directory/DNS/DHCP/DFS
- SCCM/SCOM/ including building and deploying SCCM packages
- Good understanding of AD Federation services (ADFS) and Authentication protocols (SAML/Kerberos)
- Support and management of TMG/F5APM/ and can demonstrate a thorough understanding of the IIS stack and HTTP protocol
- VMware
- MS Azure Technologies such as Azure AD, deploying IAAS\PASS based systems
- Airwatch Support and administration
- MacAfee EPO administration
- Bitlocker
- Solid knowledge of networking concepts and technologies
- Strong communication, troubleshooting and analytical skills
